Chester County Eye Care Associates is pleased to welcome Jeffrey R. Boyd, M.D. to the practice. Dr. Boyd, a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology, will begin seeing patients on May 3.
He will be the full-time ophthalmologist in our West Grove office and will perform his surgeries in Jennersville Regional Hospital. A resident of Avondale, Dr. Boyd is pleased to serve his hometown community.

Chester County Eye Care Associates is proud to announce that our own Dr. John J. DeStafeno was selected by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the area’s Rising Stars MDs Under 40 — The Next Generation of Great Philadelphia Docors.
Dr. DeStafeno is one of only 3 ophthalmologists chosen for the list and one of only two from Chester County. He was chosen for the cutting edge procedures he has brought with him to the Philadelphia area including the revolutionary DSEK corneal transplant surgery, which improves patients’ vision within weeks as compared to a year with traditional transplantation, as well as “no-stitch” pterygium removal surgery that uses amniotic membrane grafts harvested from placentas.
