Rebecca H. Ward, M.D.
Glaucoma, Comprehensive Ophthalmology
Rebecca H. Ward, M.D., joined Chester County Eye Care Associates in 1999 to help expand the scope of our glaucoma service. Dr. Ward specializes in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Ward has been published in Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, and IOVS. She has presented at numerous ophthalmology and medical conferences, and has received multiple scholarships and awards.
Education
- Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland
- Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1992
- Internship in internal medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center
- Residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Virginia
- Glaucoma fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri
