Available Positions

Patient Access Scheduler- Full Time


  • Answer all incoming phone calls with a professional and pleasant demeanor
  • Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
  • Register new patients and update patient information in our EHR system
  • Work with clinical department to help solve scheduling conflicts
  • Take clear and accurate messages and distribute to appropriate personnel throughout the day
  • Be knowledgeable about our doctors, services, locations, etc. to be able to answer patient questions


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year working in a medical setting desired
  • Exceptional phone and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of insurance plans and medical terminology helpful
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm in our West Chester office


Patient Financial Coordinator- Full Time


  • Work in conjunction with our surgical department to assist in maintaining a strong patient/customer focus and supports the delivery of highest quality of care to our patients
  • Assist patients with their medical insurance and help coordinate all needed coverage for their scheduled surgery
  • Handle all patient calls that pertain to financial questions
  • Coordinate benefits with our outsourced surgical centers and insurance carriers to give patients a complete understanding of their benefits
  • Will also cross train to assist surgery coordinators with patient counseling and surgical testing for cataract patients


  • Thorough knowledge of medical billing a must
  • Strong understanding of medical insurance trends and guidelines a must
  • Critical thinking and ability to multi-task
  • Computer knowledge/skills required and EMR experience a plus
  • Strong customer service background
  • Knowledge of medical terminology a must
  • 2-3 years of medical office experience desired


Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician & Scribe- Full Time

*Multiple positions available (entry level and experienced)

Responsibilities: (will vary depending on experience level)

  • Enter patient medical history, allergies, and medications into our electronic medical records system
  • Perform routine and diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, lensometry, refraction, visual field testing, and OCT imaging
  • Update patient’s electronic chart with testing results
  • Assist the doctors with patient examination and treatment
  • Refill prescriptions through ERX system
  • Promptly respond to messages from patients, pharmacists, and other doctors
  • Maintain and clean exam rooms and equipment


  • One night per week & one Saturday per month required
  • Travel between our offices. You must have own reliable transportation and flexibility to work in any of our three offices as needed.
  • Prior experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or other medical setting is a plus
  • Certification (COA, COT, COMT, CRA, OCT-C) a plus but not necessary. Candidates that aren’t certified will be given all necessary materials to work towards the American Academy of Ophthalmology home study certification.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well as a team with coworkers from all departments
